Familiar writing controls
Formatting should feel recognizable, with icons, menus, toolbars, and dropdowns where they help.
Typellum
Private, visual-first notes that stay yours.
Typellum is an upcoming note app for everyday writing, lists, reminders, and organised personal notes. It is being built around familiar editing controls while keeping the underlying files portable and Markdown-compatible.
Product direction
Typellum is designed for people who want simple note-taking controls without giving up ownership of their files.

Formatting should feel recognizable, with icons, menus, toolbars, and dropdowns where they help.
Notes are planned around a user-selected live library folder that stays visible and portable.
Typellum is being designed so the visual editor can still keep notes in an open, readable format underneath.
The product direction is simple: no advertising, no AI features, and no account-first lock-in.
Visual-first writing
Typellum is being built to use familiar icons, menus, toolbars, and dropdowns for formatting, while preserving Markdown-compatible storage underneath.
Storage you choose
Typellum is designed around a user-selected live library folder, initially defaulting to a visible Typellum Notes folder in Downloads unless the user changes it.
Everyday organisation
Folders, search, archive, trash and restore, reminders, and style presets are planned as part of a practical everyday note workflow.
Trustworthy by design
No ads. No AI features. No forced account-first workflow. The goal is a simple note app whose public claims stay clear, truthful, and testable.
Free core
Typellum is planned around a generous free core: unlimited notes and folders, basic writing tools, search, autosave, backup/export/import, archive/trash/restore, and basic reminders. A future one-time unlock may add advanced repeat-use features, but core ownership, access to existing notes, autosave, search, and export should never be locked away.
Beta testing
Typellum is in early development. Beta feedback will help refine the editor, organisation model, storage flow, and everyday note-taking experience.
