Typellum

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 May 2026

Overview

Typellum is an upcoming note app from Veritware. It is intended to be private, trustworthy, simple, and user-controlled, with no advertising, no AI features, and no forced account-first workflow.

Information you create in Typellum

Typellum is being designed for notes, lists, reminders, folders, style presets, and related writing information that you choose to create. Public privacy claims will be kept aligned with the implementation as the app moves through beta and release.

User-selected note folder

Typellum is intended to store notes in a user-selected live library folder. The initial default is planned as a visible Typellum Notes folder in Downloads unless the user changes it. Core note files are intended to remain user-visible, findable, portable, and Markdown-compatible.

No forced account-first workflow

Typellum is not being designed around a required account before ordinary note taking. If optional account or sync features are ever introduced, this policy will be updated before or when that behaviour becomes available.

No advertising or AI features

Typellum is planned without advertising and without AI features. Veritware does not intend to use note content for advertising or AI-feature workflows.

Backup, export, and import

Typellum is planned to include backup, export, and import tools so users can keep practical control over their notes. Details may change during development and beta testing.

Beta feedback and support emails

If you volunteer for Typellum beta testing or contact Veritware for support, Veritware may receive your email address, the contents of your message, device or platform details you provide, and any information you choose to include. This information is used to manage beta testing, respond to requests, and review related product feedback.

App stores and purchases

If Typellum is downloaded or purchased through an app store in the future, the relevant app store provider may process information connected with your download, purchase, device, account, or transaction. That processing is handled by the app store provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

Website hosting

The Typellum pages are part of the Veritware website. Website hosting providers may process basic technical information, such as server logs, security events, IP addresses, browser information, and request times, to operate and protect the website.
